Amman, Jordan, January 20, 2025: The Secretary General of the Jordan Olympic Committee, Rana Al-Saeed, welcomed officials from the Badminton World Federation, John Shearer and Jaafar Ibrahim, at the JOC headquarters last week.
During the visit, both parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the BWF and JOC in the field of developing badminton in Jordan.
Both parties stressed the importance of increasing the base of players in the sport in the Kingdom, and working to spread the sport among different age groups.
They also discussed joint cooperation to organise badminton training courses in refugee camps in Jordan, within the framework of the shared vision to support humanitarian initiatives and empowerment through sport.
