Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, January 8, 2025: Kyrgyzstan will take part in five sports at the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China from February 7-14.
A total of 50 athletes from Kyrgyzstan will compete in biathlon, curling, figure skating, ice hockey and slalom skiing.
Athletes Darya Snegovskaya and Anna Sahimer will represent Kyrgyzstan in the figure skating competition.
Biathlon and curling will be represented by nine athletes each while slalom will have a complement of 11 athletes. The ice hockey team will comprise 19 athletes with Mikhail Chekanov the head coach.
There will be a total of 64 events in 11 disciplines of six sports, with 32 ice events in Harbin and 32 snow events in Yabuli.
