Male, Maldives, December 25, 2024: The Maldives Olympic Committee in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee held a two-day Athlete365 Career+ workshop in Male last week.
The workshop brought together young athletes from diverse sports, including athletics, badminton, basketball, surfing, billiards, swimming, shooting, table tennis and tennis.
Olympian and former Singaporean sailor Jovina Choo, a certified Athlete365 Career+ educator, conducted the two-day event. It was aimed at empowering athletes by equipping them with valuable skills for life beyond their sporting careers.
Ms. Choo emphasised the importance of planning life and for achieving success after sports. Her inspiring insights benefited the young Maldivian athletes.
