Manama, Bahrain, December 24, 2024: HE Faris Mustafa Al-Kooheji, Secretary General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, welcomed the President of the Bahrain Rugby Federation, Jean Christophe Durand, at the NOC headquarters on Monday, December 23.
Secretary General Al-Kooheji praised the efforts of the Bahrain Rugby Federation in promoting and supporting the game and for organising events and tournaments that enhance the Kingdom’s position on the regional and international sporting arena.
On his part, the President of the Bahrain Rugby Federation expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Secretary General for the continuous support to rugby, emphasising the federation’s commitment to uplifting the standards of the game in the Kingdom, and being competitive at the regional and international level.
Also present at the meeting was Ahmed Mohammed Abdul Ghafar, BOC Executive Director of Operations.
