Dushanbe, Tajikistan, December 18, 2024: HE Emomali Rahmon, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, has been unanimously re-elected as the President of the Tajikistan National Olympic Committee.
The Tajikistan NOC wrote to the Olympic Council of Asia and the International Olympic Committee that, at the 24th General Assembly of the NOC on December 13, President Rahmon was re-elected to the top position in the NOC.
The Executive Board for the next Olympic cycle was also announced. It is:
· President – HE Emomali Rahmon (re-elected)
· Vice President – Zulfiqor Gulahmadzoda (newly elected)
· Vice President – Dilshod Nazarov (re-elected)
· Secretary General – Muhammadsho Abdullozoda (re-elected)
· Member – Ismoil Mahmadzoir
· Member – Nurollo Loiqov
· Member – Muhammad Mirzoaliev
· Member – Mrs. Saodat Nosirova
· Member – Mrs. Munira Abdusalomova
· Member – Mrs. Mavzuna Chorieva
· Member – Bakhtiyor Sobirzoda
The NOC stated that it was committed to promoting Olympic values and the Olympic Movement in Tajikistan and across the world.
