Nagoya, Japan, December 16, 2024: The Athletes Committee of the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Organising Committee paid their third visit to a local school on December 13.
The school campaign is to promote the 20th Asian Games and the 5th Asian Para Games in 2026, as well as to share the joy of sport with the students.
Basketball player Mika Kurihara and wheelchair basketball player Mari Amimoto visited Meisho Junior High School in Anjo City to introduce the Asian Games and give a sports demonstration.
In this interactive session, the students got to know all about the Asian Games and Asian Para Games and then showed off their skills on the court, sharing the charm of sport.
The 20th Asian Games will run from September 19 to October 4, 2026, followed by the 5thAsian Para Games from October 18-24.
