Hong Kong, China, December 11, 2024: The Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China held its 2024 Annual General Meeting at Olympic House on Tuesday, December 10.
The following seven Officers, comprised of five Vice Presidents and two Honorary Deputy Secretary Generals, were elected:

The four elected VPs, namely Mr. Tony Yue, Mr. Kenneth Fok, Dr. David Mong and Mr. Alexander Yeung, and the two elected deputy secretary generals will have a term of four years with immediate effect until the 2028 AGM.
The elected VP, Mr. Michael Lee, will succeed Dr. Brian Stevenson, a retired VP, to complete his remaining term of two years with effect from today until the 2026 AGM.
Mr. Timothy Fok, President of SF&OC, emphasized that, as a National Olympic Committee, SF&OC complied with the relevant principles on the terms of appointment and age of committee members of the International Olympic Committee, transitioning from old to new.
He expressed gratitude to Dr. Brian Stevenson and Prof. Herman Hu, the retired VPs, for their dedication and contribution to SF&OC over the years, and wished them well in their future endeavors.
Mr. Fok also welcomed the newly elected VPs - Mr. Alexander Yeung, Chairman of the Fencing Association of Hong Kong, China, and Mr. Michael Lee, President of The Equestrian Federation of Hong Kong, China.
He said that, with their Olympic sports background, both new VPs had made a significant contribution to the sports industry, from promoting the development of sports in Hong Kong to supporting athletes, and that he was confident they would inject impetus into SF&OC with their profound experience.
SF&OC expressed gratitude to the Election Committee for providing professional advice, and to all members and candidates of the election for their support and cooperation, facilitating the smooth conduct of the election in a fair, open and just manner.
