Amman, Jordan, December 4, 2024: HRH Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee, attended the conclusion of the 2024 Jordanian Athletes Forum, organised by the Athletes’ Commission of the JOC.
The event was attended by athletes representing all of Jordan's national sports federations and featured panel discussions led by specialists, focusing on athletes and their journeys.
It was held as an important part of the Jordan Olympic Committee’s strategy to support and assist Jordanian athletes throughout their sports careers and beyond.
The forum included three sessions: The Road to the Olympic Games; Dealing with Bullying and Abuse; and Artificial Intelligence and its impact on Athletic Performance.
Open discussions were held, allowing athletes to address important issues such as managing psychological pressures during competitions and leveraging modern technologies like artificial intelligence.
Rana Al-Saeed, JOC Secretary General, emphasised the forum’s importance, stating: “This forum serves as a crucial platform to clarify the Jordan Olympic Committee’s vision of supporting athletes throughout their journeys, from preparation to qualification for major global events such as the Olympic Games.
“We aim to build bridges of communication between the NOC and athletes, offering them technical and moral support and providing them with the necessary information to achieve the best results.”
