Doha, Qatar, November 12, 2024: The Qatar Olympic Committee has welcomed the election of presidents of three national federations – esports, handball and fencing – by posting congratulatory messages on its social media.
The QOC congratulated Sheikh Nasser bin Khalid Al-Thani on his election as President of the Qatar Esports Federation, Mr. Ahmed Al-Shaabi as President of the Qatar Handball Association and Mr. Abdullah Ali Al-Ghanim as President of the Qatar Fencing Federation.
The QOC also welcomed the elections of Mr. Mohammed Issa Al-Sharim as Secretary General of the Qatar E-Sports Federation, Mr. Mohammed Jaber Al-Mullah as Secretary General of the Qatar Handball Association and Mr. Khaled Issa Al-Hamadi as Secretary General of the Qatar Fencing Federation.
All three federations elected their top officials for the period of 2024-2028.
