Amman, Jordan, November 3, 2024: HRH Prince Feisal Bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee and IOC Executive Board member, gave a speech on safeguarding in sport at the 27th ANOC General Assembly in Cascais, Portugal.
Prince Feisal, who is also Chair of ANOC’s Gender Equality Commission, was one of the keynote speakers during the closing sessions, and he addressed the important topic of protecting athletes from harm and abuse while promoting their well-being.
The three-day ANOC General Assembly, which concluded last Friday, November 1, brought together more than 859 delegates from 200 National Olympic Committees as well as representatives from the IOC, International Federations and Olympic Games Organising Committees.
The gathering provided NOCs with an opportunity to share insights on the Olympic programme and progress on the Olympic Artificial Intelligence Agenda.
