Cascais, Portugal, October 31, 2024: The President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, attended the 27th ANOC General Assembly in Cascais, Portugal on Wednesday October 30.
Sheikh Joaan, who is Senior Vice President of the Association of National Olympic Committees, honoured the Denmark handball team as the best men’s team at the Paris 2024 Olympic at the ANOC Awards ceremony held on the sidelines of the General Assembly.
The General Assembly was attended by ANOC President Dr. Robin Mitchell and IOC President Dr. Thomas Bach, along with representatives of more than 200 National Olympic Committees, the IOC, international sports federations and Olympic Games organising committees.
