Nepal NOC President bids farewell to athletes bound for 3rd Taolu World Cup in Yokohama

Kathmandu, Nepal, October 23, 2024: The President of the Nepal Olympic Committee, Jeevan Ram Shrestha, bid farewell to the athletes from the Nepal Wushu Federation who will be participating at the 3rd Taolu World Cup in Yokohama, Japan from October 24-28.

 

The event is held under the auspices of the International Wushu Federation every two years and the top taolu practitioners from all over the world compete. A total of 22 events for both men and women will be held over the five days of competition.

 

At the last Taolu World Cup held in Yangon, Myanmar in 2018, Hong Kong, China finished top of the medal standings.

 

Also present at the farewell ceremony held at the Nepal NOC headquarters in Satdobato, Kathmandu on October 21 was NOC executive director and Vice President Chaturananda Raj Vaidhya.
