Tehran, Iran, October 23, 2024: The National Olympic Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran in conjunction with the Iran Gymnastics Federation held an Olympic Solidarity technical course for gymnastic coaches last week.
The course was attended by 40 male and female coaches from all over the country and held in two separate groups – the women at the National Gymnastics Federation Hall and the men at the Shahid Shirodi Gymnastics Hall.
Prominent International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) instructors from Russia, Alexei Ryzhkov and Svetlana Agofonova, conducted the course.
The aim of the course, which was held over six days, was to improve the basic knowledge of gymnastics. Both theory and practical classes were held.
At the end of the course, all coaches received an Olympic Solidarity coaching certificate signed by the President of the International Olympic Committee, Dr. Thomas Bach, and the President of the Iran National Olympic Committee, Mahmoud Khosravi Vafa.
