Hanoi, Vietnam, October 22, 2024: The Secretary General of the Vietnam Olympic Committee, Manh Van Tran, took part in the Vietnam Sport Economics Forum 2024 at the Melia Hotel in Hanoi on October 17.
The theme of the forum was “Exploiting the potential of sport economics in the new era” – a concept initiated by the Viet Content company.
The forum was organised jointly by the Physical Education Bureau of the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism and by the Vietnam Olympic Committee. It was the second time for the forum to be held.
The three main topics were:
*The relationship between state governing bodies, national sporting associations and organisers
*The economic impact of hosting large sports events
*Exploiting the commercial value of sports tournaments.
The forum partners hope to seek solutions to help develop a professional, modern and sustainable sporting background. The proposals will be used going forward to form a sports economic development policy.
