Kuwait City, Kuwait, October 16, 2024: Olympic Council of Asia Director General Dr. Husain Al Musallam welcomed the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kuwait, Ayubkhan Yunusov, at the OCA Headquarters in Kuwait on Tuesday, October 15.
The OCA Director General and the Uzbekistan Ambassador discussed strengthening cooperation in sports between Uzbekistan and the OCA, and also focused on the upcoming Tashkent 2025 Asian Youth Games.
“Together with Uzbekistan, we look forward to continued collaboration as we work to elevate sports across Asia,” the OCA stated.
Preparations for the 2025 AYG are in full flow. The 1st Coordination Committee Meeting for the Games is ongoing in Tashkent and last week another OCA team travelled to Tashkent for a Games Preparations/IT Audit Meeting.
