Astana, Kazakhstan, October 15, 2024: Anara Syzdykova, Director of the International Relations Department of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan, has been selected to participate in the International Olympic Committee’s Immersion Programme.
The new edition of the Immersion Programme for National Olympic Committees will take place from November 25 to December 6, 2024, at the IOC headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Syzdykova is one of seven participants from NOCs across five continents for the programme which is aimed at deepening the engagement between the IOC and the NOC.
Key selection criteria included the participant’s professional experience and their NOC’s active role in implementing initiatives and collaborating with the IOC.
Syzdykova will learn about IOC workflows, establish links with colleagues around the world, and make a presentation of the work of the Kazakhstan NOC.
The programme features both group sessions and individual training, designed to facilitate knowledge exchange and enhance professional skills.
Participants will benefit from learning from experienced IOC staff, enabling them to apply this knowledge in the future and contribute to the development of the Olympic Movement in their respective countries.
