Nepalese government and NOC get together at Right to Information meeting

Kathmandu, Nepal, March 18, 2020: A meeting about the Right to Information was held last week in Singadarbar and attended by top Nepalese government and sports officials. 

Organised by the National Sports Ministry of Nepal, the meeting centred on how information flow can be made more efficient and how everyone has the right to information.

Nepal’s Youth and Sports Minister Hon. Jagat Bahadur Bishwokarma, the Secretary General of Nepal Olympic Committee Nilendra Raj Shrestha and Information Commissioner Ratna Prasad Mainali attended the meeting.

Right to Information generally means any material in any form including records, documents, memos, e-mails, opinions, press releases, circulars, reports, papers, is made available to the general public who can request and obtain information held in public agencies.
