Tashkent, Uzbekistan, October 11, 2024: The Olympic Council of Asia and Tashkent Asian Youth Games Organising Committee took another big step forward in their planning and preparations for the next AYG in September 2025.
The local organising committee welcomed a delegation from the OCA for the Games Preparations/IT Audit Meeting to lay the foundations for a smooth and efficient Asian Youth Games in terms of systems management and operations.
The meeting brought together key figures from both sides to discuss the technical details on the road to a successful AYG in just under one year’s time.
The Tashkent team included Oybek Kasimov, Director of TAYGOC; Mukhammad Khumoyun Ibragimov, Deputy Director of International Relations and Marketing; and Kamoliddin Ergashev, Head of International Relations at the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.
The OCA delegation was led by the Director of Technology and Information Department, Waleed Mubarak, and included the Special Projects and Olympic Solidarity Programmes Manager Wissam Trkmani, Systems Engineer/Technology and Information Specialist Anil Reddy and Social Media and Archive Manager Yusuf Ali.
