Colombo, Sri Lanka, October 9, 2024: The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka celebrated TAFISA World Walking Day with a series of events last week.
At the NOC headquarters in Colombo, a number of participants including NOC staff, engaged in a dynamic fitness session that included spinning, stretching and other practices.
Expert instructors from a leading Colombo gym led the session on the day dedicated to walking by TAFISA – an international organisation which advocates sport for all.
Meanwhile, to mark this occasion, Olympian Niluka Karunaratne conducted a badminton session at the National Institute of Sports Science Badminton Courts.
