Iran NOC and volleyball federation begin course for female coaches

Tehran, Iran, October 8, 2024: The National Olympic Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in conjunction with the Iran Volleyball Federation, has started an Olympic Solidarity volleyball development course for female coaches.

 

A total of 65 selected female coaches from all over the country participated in the course which will be held in two stages – theory and practical.

 

The aim of this course is to improve the knowledge at grassroots level of volleyball coaching for women. The first stage is 12 days of theory in the classroom. The second practical stage will last six months where participants will be expected to put into use all the lessons learned out on the court.

 

At the end of six months an online meeting will be held to summarise the entire process with special emphasis being placed on the identification and development of young female talent.
