Cambodia NOC calls for final entries for Angkor Wat half marathon

Phnom Penh, Cambodia, October 8, 2024: One of the most popular sports events in southeast Asia has made a final call for entries for local and overseas runners alike.

 

The Angkor Wat International Half Marathon at Siem Reap, Cambodia will be held on December 1 and the organisers have set a registration deadline of October 23.

 

The 21km half marathon, which will have the ancient Angkor Wat temple complex as the backdrop, will be supported by shorter distances over 10km, 5km and 3km.

 

Meanwhile, on the afternoon of October 7, His Excellency Vath Chamroeun, Secretary of the Ministry of Youth, Education and Sport and Secretary General of NOC Cambodia, led a meeting with the technical team for the opening ceremony of the 4th National Games and 2nd National Para Games.

 

The National Games, held every two years, will run from October 29 to November 8 in four cities: Phnom Penh, Kep, Svay Rieng and Kampong Chhnang.
