Harbin, China, October 7, 2024: The Harbin Asian Winter Games Organising Committee has announced that the deadline for media accreditation has been extended by three weeks.
The media registration for the 2025 Harbin Asian Winter Games was originally scheduled to close at 24:00 on Monday, October 7, 2024 but has been extended tentatively to Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 24:00.
This is largely to assist overseas media not connected to one of Asia’s National Olympic Committees in registering for the event.
The 9th AWG will take place in Harbin from February 7-14, 2025, with six sports, 11 disciplines and 64 events.
Harbin, which organised the 3rd AWG in 1996, will host 32 ice sports events while Yabuli, some 190km away by high-speed train, will host 32 snow sports events.
