Amman, Jordan, October 7, 2024: The Secretary General of the Jordan Olympic Committee, Rana Al-Saeed, and the Minister of Youth, Eng. Yazan Al-Shadifat, held discussions on promoting sports in the Kingdom.
In a meeting held at the Ministry of Youth last week, Minister Al-Shadifat stressed the importance of framing cooperation and partnership in the field of training, the rehabilitation of sporting infrastructure to serve sports federations and national teams, and enhancing sports programmes in the National Youth Strategy for 2026-2030.
NOC Secretary General Al-Saeed, supporting the Minister’s viewpoint, said: “We at the JOC always seek to explore and consolidate ways of cooperation with the Ministry of Youth in a way that serves the interests of sports in the Kingdom, serves our sports federations and national teams, and continues to achieve results.”
She added: "We look forward to working with the Ministry of Youth to rehabilitate and improve sports facilities in addition to developing programmes and plans that contribute to promoting Jordanian sport and expanding its base among young people.”
