Lahore, Pakistan, October 2, 2024: The Pakistan Olympic Association has called national sports federations to nominate a male and female athlete to attend the 9th Youth Camp of the Chinese Olympic Committee in Beijing, China from November 3-8.
“The Pakistan NOC has been invited to nominate two participants, a male and female, for this year’s camp. This event has been held since 2013 and highlights the unique value of sports, foster cultural exchange, and strengthen cooperation among NOCs and young athletes globally,” stated POA Secretary General Muhammad Khalid Mahmood in a letter sent to all federations.
“If interested, please nominate one male and one female candidate,” the POA Secretary General added.
The Chinese Olympic Committee will cover the costs of food and accommodation, local transportation and pay for half the airfare round trip for both participants. All participants must be fluent in English and have a basic understanding of the Olympic Movement.
The deadline for submission of applications is October 4.
