New Delhi, India, September 29, 2024: India’s shining star from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Manu Bhaker, has posted a motivational message on her Facebook account.

The 22-year-old pistol shooter won two bronze medals at Paris 2024 and urged people to chase their dreams and use passion to fuel their journey.

“I was 14 when I started with my journey in shooting; never had I ever imagined reaching this far in my career and achieving as much as I have,” Manu wrote.

“Once you start on something, make sure you do everything in your power to complete it and chase your dreams relentlessly, no matter how tough the road gets.

“Stay focused, stay driven, and let your passion fuel your journey. Every small step forward brings you closer to greatness. Keep going - you're capable of more than you imagine!”

Manu then listed the high-profile international sports competitions in which she has competed, including the Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Youth Olympic Games, World Championships, World Cup Trophy and World University Games.

“However, my dream of winning Olympic golds for my country continues,” she concluded.

At Paris 2024, Manu won two bronze medals. First, she won bronze in the women's 10 metre air pistol event, becoming the first female shooter from India to win a medal at any Olympics. Next, she won another bronze medal in the mixed 10 metre air pistol team event with Sarabjot Singh.
