Sri Lanka badminton coaches attend week-long OS programme

Colombo, Sri Lanka, September 25, 2024: Sri Lanka Badminton proudly hosted the Development of National Sport System programme for coaches with financial backing from Olympic Solidarity from September 9-16.

 

The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka, which paved the way for Olympic Solidarity funding, stated on its Facebook page that the week-long programme at the Mercantile Badminton Association in Colombo was attended by 20 of the country’s top badminton coaches.

 

“This exciting initiative brought together 20 leading coaches in Sri Lanka for intense skill development and learning. Three leading badminton instructors from Asia conducted the programme,” the NOC stated.

 

The programme focused on enhancing coaching techniques and deepening technical knowledge.

 

“This marks a pivotal moment for badminton in Sri Lanka, empowering our coaches to lead the next generation of talent. Together, we are building a brighter, stronger future for the sport,” the NOC added.
