Kathmandu, Nepal, September 12, 2024: The Nepal Olympic Committee has congratulated NOC President Jeevan Ram Shrestha on his election as Chair of the Olympic Council of Asia's Sports and Environment Committee.
In this capacity, the Nepal NOC President also takes a place on the OCA Executive Board.
This new role was announced during the 44th OCA General Assembly in New Delhi, India on Sunday, September 8.
“Congratulations to NOC President Mr. Jeevan Ram Shrestha who was elected as Chair of Sports and Environment Committee and Executive Board Member of Olympic Council of Asia for 2024-2028,” the NOC posted on social media.
The Nepal Olympic Committee also congratulated newly elected President of OCA Raja Randhir Singh and his whole team for a successful tenure.
