New Delhi, India, September 11, 2024: The Indian Olympic Association President PT Usha welcomed her counterpart at the neighbouring National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka, Suresh Subramaniam, at the IOA headquarters on Monday, September 9.
“It was a pleasure to host Sri Lanka NOC President Mr. Suresh Subramaniam at the IOA office,” PT Usha stated on the IOA Facebook page.
The meeting between the two Presidents took place on the day following the 44th Olympic Council of Asia General Assembly in New Delhi on September 8.
“A discussion centred around furthering the Olympic Movement, sporting ecosystems in our countries and the growth of sports in general followed,” PT Usha added.
