Colombo, Sri Lanka, September 11, 2024: The Sri Lanka Anti-Doping Agency conducted a dynamic workshop aimed at refreshing and enhancing the knowledge of sports physicians who work with Sri Lanka's national teams.
The session focused on key topics essential to maintaining the integrity of sport:
*The critical role of medical professionals in sport
*Washout periods, glucocorticoids and the risks of a positive test
*The criteria for granting a TUE
*Results management procedures
*Five crucial questions to consider before recommending a supplement
SLADA is committed to maintaining close collaboration with these sports physicians to foster a clean sport environment across the country, ensuring Sri Lanka produces athletes who embody the Olympic spirit of fairness and integrity.
