Our new OCA President - Raja Randhir Singh

Born: October 18, 1946, Patiala, India. Age: 77

Raja Randhir is the fourth generation of a sporting family. His uncle, Maharaja Yadavindra Singh, was a test cricketer for India and his father, Raja Bjalindra Singh, was an IOC Member from 1947-92.

*B.A. in History from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi (India)

*Shooting (trap and skeet), golf, swimming, squash, cricket

 

Sports career

Olympic Games (5): Mexico 1968, Munich 1972, Montreal 1976, Moscow 1980 and Los Angeles 1984. (Reserve shooter at Tokyo 1964).

Asian Games (4): Bangkok 1978 – Individual Gold Medal in Shooting - Trap; New Delhi 1982 – Individual Bronze Medal in Shooting – Trap and Team Silver in Shooting - Trap; Seoul 1986 and Hiroshima 1994.

Commonwealth Games (1): Edmonton 1978
