Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, September 4, 2024: Emirati sailor Dhuha Mohammed Al-Beshr will participate in an international advanced training programme carried out by World Sailing for aspiring coaches.
Dhuha will become the first coach from the United Arab Emirates Sailing and Rowing Federation, headed by Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Mohamed Al Nahyan, to undergo this international training programme and is seen as the cutting edge to hone future leaders for the national team.
Her participation in this World Sailing programme will be funded by the International Olympic Solidarity scheme under the supervision of the UAE National Olympic Committee.
Dhuha has already been identified as a potential candidate to qualify for the LA28 Olympics, and is backed by UAE sovereign investor Mubadala.
