Macau, China, September 3, 2024: A delegation of Paris 2024 Olympians from mainland China continued their tour of southern China by visiting the Macau Special Administrative Region after three days in Hong Kong.
The athletes took part in cordial exchanges with the local population and students by sharing their experiences and joy of competing at the Olympic Games.
On the morning of September 1, the delegation attended the “Dialogue between National Olympic Athletes and Young Athletes from Macau” at the Sports Pavilion of the Olympic Sports Center. The Chinese athletes addressed 600 elite athletes, teams and students from Macau and spoke about their training and their mental toughness, fighting spirit and perseverance.
They also joined in table tennis and gymnastics sessions.
The delegation included Ma Long, Quan Hongchan, Cao Yuan, Pan Zhanle, Feng Yu, Guo Qiqi, Liu Yang and Li Qian, who spoke with representatives of the Macau athletes Wong Weng Ian, Chen Pui Lam, Fong Man Hou and Leong Ieng Lam.
