New Delhi, India, August 21, 2024: The Indian Olympic Association has thanked all fans for the massive following and support for the country’s athletes on social media during the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The IOA social media pages were bombarded with hits during the Paris Games. It received more than 76 million organic impressions with 26 million accounts reached.
In addition the IOA social media pages had a 100 per cent increase in followers underlining the huge interest and support for the country’s athletes.
India won a total of six medals at the July 26 to August 11 showpiece, comprised of one silver medal and five bronze medals. Shooter Manu Bhaker won two bronze medals.
The IOA also thanked all its sponsors for the generous support for the Olympics. Among the 16 sponsors were Reliance Foundation, Adani, Amul, Puma and Bharat Petroleum.
