Singapore, August 14, 2024: Singapore’s Olympic Games delegation enjoyed an open-top bus tour to welcome them home from Paris.
Singapore won one bronze medal through Max Maeder – and their first in sailing – at Paris 2024, and the 17-year-old kite foil sailor was the centre of attention during the parade.
Just like in the opening ceremony of Paris 2024 on the River Seine on July 26, the parade was hit by a torrential downpour, but it did not stop the public from coming out and showing their appreciation of the Singapore athletes at the Olympic Games.
