Kuwait City, Kuwait, March 11, 2020: The Olympic Council of Asia’s new edition of the quarterly magazine Sporting Asia is now available for download at www.ocasia.org.

Sporting Asia – March 2020 is the 48th newsletter published by the OCA since it was launched in 2009.

The front cover features Korea’s young figure skating sensation You Young, who won the ladies’ singles gold medal at the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne, Switzerland, and was named No. 1 news story by the IOC’s Olympic.org.

Eight pages are devoted to the excellent performance of Asian athletes at the Winter YOG, with reports, photos and an Asian Roll of Honour for all medal-winners from the various Asian National Olympic Committees.

The new Sporting Asia Edition 48 also looks back on the two big regional games at the end of 2019 – the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in the Philippines and the 13th South Asian Games in Nepal – and provides updates on the OCA’s upcoming multi-sport games.

Other articles focus on Athlete Awards for 2019 and a few of the success stories on the Road to Tokyo 2020 in football, handball, volleyball and rugby sevens.

Regular features include the President’s Message, NOC News in Pictures, Inside the OCA, NOC Focus (Singapore), Asia’s Olympic Era, Women in Sport, News in Brief and OCA Sports Diary.
