Harbin, China, July 23, 2024: A dazzling 200-day countdown show for the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China was held at the world-famous Harbin Ice and Snow World on Monday, July 22.
The celebration kicked off with the dance "Snow Flying", and the original song "Ice City Fire" ignited the audience's passion. The highlight of the evening was 500 drones spelling out "200 Days to Go" in the sky, pushing the atmosphere to its peak.
The show closed with the original song of the AWG official slogan "Dream of Winter, Love among Asia" expressing the beautiful vision of a shared future.
This spectacular event lit up the night sky of Harbin, reaffirming its status as the "City of Olympic Champions" and the “City of two Asian Winter Games”.
Harbin will host the 9th Asian Winter Games from February 7-14, 2025. It will be the second time for Harbin, capital city of Heilongjiang province in north east China, to organise the Asian Winter Games following the third AWG in 1996.
