Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, July 17, 2024: The ceremonial uniforms for the Mongolian team participating in the opening ceremony of the 33rd Summer Olympics Paris 2024 have been designed by the Michel & Amazonka brand for the second consecutive Olympics, reports the Montsame National News Agency.

The striking uniforms feature national and Olympic symbols, including the Nine White Banners, the Olympic torch, the emblem of the Paris Olympics and representations of the sun, moon, and the Gua-Maral (myth deer), all intricately embroidered with golden thread.

The Michel & Amazonka brand held a special show earlier this month to launch the parade uniforms ahead of the Olympic Games opening ceremony on July 26.

Channel News Asia reported that the Michel & Amazonka label was founded in 2015 and is headed by three sisters – Michel, Amazonka and Munkhjargal Choigaalaa – who are of Mongolian descent.

After the outfits were revealed online, netizens praised Mongolia for green-lighting such beautiful outfits for their athletes.

“It is truly a blend of beauty and traditional,” commented one netizen.
