Asian Games mascot prepares for debut event in Nagoya

Nagoya, Japan, July 8, 2024: Organisers of the 20th Asian Games in Japan are about to take another big step on the road to Aichi-Nagoya 2026.

The official mascot of the Asian Games always plays an important role in the profile and promotion of the event, and AINAGOC is preparing for the first public appearance of the new mascot.

The mascot, as yet unnamed, was chosen from a final shortlist of three, and its debut appearance will come at the KITTE Nagoya 1F Atrium on Sunday, July 14, from 11am to 11.30am.

KITTE Nagoya is a polished collection of shops and restaurants occupying the lower floors of a modern office building and located in JP Tower Nagoya.

The mascot is sure to attract a lot of attention and raise community spirit ahead of the 20th Asian Games, which will be held from September 19 to October 4 in Nagoya city, Aichi prefecture and other locations such as Tokyo for the swimming and diving and equestrian.

AINAGOC will also give out free gifts and souvenirs to the public.

Organisers unveiled the mascot last month and are set to announce a name this month.
