Sana’a, Yemen, July 2, 2024: The Yemen Olympic Committee has announced the final list of participants for the Paris Olympics 2024, the YOC media department reports.
Yemen will be represented by four athletes in four different sports at the Paris Olympics, which run from July 26 to August 11.
The four athletes are:
*Yasmin Al-Remy, shooting, women’s 10m air pistol
*Youssef Marwan, swimming, men’s 100m butterfly
*Samir Elifai, athletics, men’s 100m
*Hisham Makaber, judo, men’s -60kg.
The Yemeni team will take part in a joint training camp in Tunisia with Paris-bound Tunisian athletes following an agreement between the two National Olympic Committees.
The camp is set to start on July 5 and finish on July 22, four days before the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics on July 26.
