Tashkent, Uzbekistan, July 1, 2024: The Secretary General of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association, Nasser Majali, visited Uzbekistan for a series of meetings with Olympic and sports officials in Tashkent.
He was welcomed by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Sport, Dr. Adkham Ikramov, and by the Uzbekistan Olympic Committee Secretary General, Oybek Kasimov.
“We were honored to meet a number of sports officials in Uzbekistan as part of a series of meetings held by the staff of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association with member countries,” Majali commented.
“These meetings aim to foster cooperation in the field of sports, achieving the goals and vision of the union. During our visit to the capital, Tashkent, we could feel the great spirit of brotherhood.”
