Thimphu, Bhutan, June 18, 2024: The Bhutan Olympic Committee welcomed representatives from three prestigious Thai universities at the BOC Headquarters in Thimphu on Monday, June 17.
Representatives from Chiang Mai University, Mae Fah Luang University and Maejo University were received by BOC Secretary General Sonam Karma Tshering..
During the meeting the BOC explored potential partnerships in sports and research, as well as scholarships for Bhutanese athletes, coaches and administrators.
The visitors were also given an overview of the sports landscape in Bhutan to gain insight into the BOC’s vision and future plans.
