Amman, Jordan, June 17, 2024: The Sports for All Department of the Jordan Olympic Committee, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, held a two-day "Sports Hour" workshop at the Olympic Preparation Centre last week.
The workshop was attended by physical education teachers, members of school sports departments, heads of activities departments and educational supervisors.
The two-day event included a group of interactive sessions and introduced the Sports Hour project, highlighting the importance of sport and its role in improving the quality of life, as well as underlining Olympic values.
The Sports Hour project aims to integrate the concept of sports into school activities through the national summer programme “Imprint” which is implemented by the Ministry of Education.
Another objective of the project is to strengthen the strategic partnership between the Jordan Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Education.
