Kathmandu, Nepal, June 13, 2024: The Nepal Olympic Committee, in collaboration with the Nepal Weightlifting Association, is conducting an Olympic Solidarity Technical Course for Coaches in Weightlifting.
The course, which began on Monday, June 10 and runs until June 14, is being led by Serbian Ervin Rozsnyik, a former national record holder.
The Serbian specialist was welcomed at the opening ceremony for the course by Nepal Olympic Committee President Jeevan Ram Shrestha. More than 30 coaches are taking part.
Rozsnyik, 31, was introduced to weightlifting by his father. Among his major achievements was winning the gold medal at the FISU World University Weightlifting Championship.
