New Delhi, India, June 9, 2024: The President of the Indian Olympic Association, PT Usha, planted a tree to mark World Environment Day on June 5.
The theme for 2024 World Environment Day is "land restoration for drought resistance", and the Indian Olympic Association fully supported this programme.
"Let us do our bit to contribute towards a sustainable future," the IOA posted on social media.
The IOA President also met with the Ambassador of France to India, Thierry Mathou, on Saturday, June 8.
"It was a pleasure meeting Mr. Thierry Mathou, the Ambassador of France to India," PT Usha said. "With just less than 50 days to go to Paris 2024, we look forward to reinforcing sports cooperation and having a successful Games."
