Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, May 29, 2024: The National Olympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Athletics Federation of Kyrgyzstan jointly held a seminar on the topic of Gender Equality in Sports.
The aims of the seminar were:
· Development of gender equality
· Involving girls in systematic physical education
· Health promotion
· More opportunities in athletics
Around 150 boys and girls participated in the seminar which was followed by three races: 60 metres, 300m and 600m. There was also a mass 400m race.
All participants received a t-shirt, a medal and a souvenir.
