Kuwait City, Kuwait, May 21, 2024: The Olympic Council of Asia extends its deepest sympathy and condolences to the people of Iran on the demise of the esteemed President, Ebrahim Raisi, in a helicopter crash.
“The OCA is deeply saddened by this terrible tragedy and joins the rest of the world in mourning the President of Iran, Mr. Ebrahim Raisi, and all government officials, staff and crew who perished,” the OCA said in a statement.
“Our heartfelt condolences go out to the people of Iran, and in particular to the National Olympic Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran, your athletes and the entire sports community.”
