Lahore, Pakistan, May 15, 2024: The Pakistan Olympic Association will hold a two-day integrity workshop for athletes in collaboration with the International Olympic Committee and WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency).
The seminar, known as the POA "Integrity Workshop: Fair Play and Beyond", will be held on May 15-16, and is mainly targeting athletes who have qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
“The POA is dedicated to upholding the Olympic values and Olympic Agenda 2020+5. This workshop aims to empower elite athletes, support personnel, and scholarship holders with informative sessions,” the POA stated on social media.
The sessions will include:
· Anti-doping measures for Paris 2024
· Practical demonstration and result management for doping test
· Prevention of the manipulation of competitions
· Athletes safeguarding from harassment and abuse
