Kyrgyz NOC President Sadyr Mamytov thanks Altyn Alliance for support

Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, May 8, 2024: The President of the National Olympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Mamytov, has thanked the Altyn Alliance Company for its commitment to sports in the country.

 

Altyn Alliance has been a partner of the Kyrgyzstan NOC since 2022 and recently equipped four halls in the Talas region with wrestling mats. Wrestling is one of the most popular sports in Kyrgyzstan. 

 

The country has eight wrestlers qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics – four of them by virtue of a top five finish at the 2023 World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, and the other four by reaching the finals at the 2024 Asian Olympic Qualification Tournament in Bishkek in April.

 

NOC President Mamytov thanked Altyn Alliance for its support for wrestling as well as for providing financial resources to the Wrestling Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Boxing Federation, the Weightlifting Federation and the Rowing Federation.
