Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, April 29, 2024: Malaysian sailor Khairulnizam Mohd Afendy is heading for his fourth straight Olympic Games after qualifying for Paris 2024.
In what was Khairulnizam's final opportunity to book a ticket to Paris, he secured his place at the Last Chance Regatta 2024 in Hyeres, France, where he finished third in the men’s dinghy.
The competition marked the conclusion of the qualification process for Paris 2024 and Khairulnizam will join Nur Shazrin Mohamad Latif in representing Malaysia in Sailing.
Khairulnizam, 30, made his debut in London 2012, followed by appearances in Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020.
