Amman, Jordan, April 29, 2024: HRH Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee and IOC Executive Board member, welcomed David Haggerty, President of the International Tennis Federation, in Amman last Friday, April 26.
Haggerty was visiting Jordan for the first time at the invitation of the Jordanian Tennis Federation to follow the West Asian U-12 Championship which is hosted by the federation.
Haggerty praised the great progress of Jordanian tennis in recent years, with the presence of a number of Jordanian players competing at international level.
The ITF President also expressed his happiness with the efforts of the Jordanian Tennis Federation to develop and spread the sport in cooperation with the Jordan Olympic Committee, and commended the programmes and projects of the JOC in building a sporting culture at the highest level of excellence.
